We are the new Staffs Even Safer Roads Partnership. We are NOT the actual Police-related Staffs Safer Roads Partnership. We’re an independent community of 21,000 road users in and around Staffordshire, West Midlands, UK.

We are privately owned, and have a team of drivers checking regular routes around the County at various points during the day. They report back to us, who push it out to the whole group of 21,000.

You would think so that we can all speed. But no, that’s not why we do this. We actually do this to SLOW CARS DOWN!

100% of vehicles that got a ticket didn’t get slowed down, and sped, and got a ticket.

We share this with 21,000 road users, they slow down, but then the cars behind them slow down too. Given the fact 750,000 vehicles drive through Staffordshire each day, we have probably slowed down hundreds of millions, and have probably saved about 1 million lives in doing so. Something that the Police could have done if they Policed the roads.

Or something the council could have done if they just installed average speed cameras and used machine learning to set the speed they should all be at, and then work out when a vehicle that has gone through a 30 for X minutes, 40 for X, 50 for X – their maximum (quickest time to work) should be Y. And if they go over that time/speed they get a ticket. Could all be done with todays technology and we strive for it. We will campaign no end until it is like this on all roads to make them safe.

Until then these cameras and community people with radar guns can sod off! They’re not productive, never slowed a single car down, never worked. Always just made profit for councils and police forces.

It takes the actual piss really doesn’t it.
