🚨 Less than 24 hours after being installed, the brand-new speed camera on Northam Bridge has been cut down overnight. The Council is reportedly frustrated, but it seems some motorists aren’t quite as upset. Just out of interest guys and gals. Those of you 'who have friends' who have been sent a ticket for speeding could you tell me the speed you were doing, and the speed of the road? Trying to find the lowest speed or nearest speed to the limit that was sent one. I've seen a 34 in 30 get a ticket. If your friend didn't speed and it was you lol you can post to the page anonymously if you want to just want redemption I will absolve you of your sins for you. I was asked again in messenger if the old square gatsos work. They don't. The new ones that are not gatso made, look like the picture and have a separate flash box attached. The flash is only for the attention of drivers who get flashed and other road users to warn they work. The flash isn't needed anymore because it isn't two pictures that get saved and a measurement made between the two pictures it took. It's now digital so potentially recording the whole time and only saving clips that trigger it. They only face the rear. So they haven't solved the problem of proving who was driving at the time.
